A new forecourt to the National Museum of Australia by TCL and ARM Architecture is currently under construction. In the spirit of the Museum’s architecture, the forecourt includes a garden with whimsical yet robust geometric forms. The garden features exclusively Australian plants, selected in collaboration with planting designer Paul Thompson, ensuring the garden seamlessly integrates with its Canberra setting. When completed, the forecourt will not only provide an accessible journey to the museum’s entrance, but also offer a place of learning, where visitors can experience the variety and brilliance of our continent’s flora. Stay tuned for its completion in 2019.
