Project Title: MEDITERRANEAN GARDEN

Undertaken as part of an integrated project with the Schomburghk Pavilion, the Mediterranean Garden is a major component in the rejuvenation of the heart of the Adelaide Botanic Garden.

Based on the plant species of the five Mediterranean climate regions of the world, the garden tells the stories of these remarkable landscapes.

Through careful selection of species, the garden also functions as an exemplar of water conscious landscape design.  Custom designed seating, and a central water rill which uses minimal water to great effect, complete the garden.
