About

Each year a themed International Festival of Gardens is held at Chaumont-sur-Loire in France. The theme for the 2004 competition was 'chaos, order and confusion in the garden'.

Fire Stories examines and abstractly represents how the seemingly chaotic and destructive elemental force of fire orders and replenishes the Australian landscape.

The design examines and abstractly represents how the seemingly chaotic and destructive elemental force of fire orders and replenishes the Australian landscape. The garden is composed of a number of interrelated elements, each expressing different stories in relation to fire.
