"I see design as a way to honour the complexity and resilience of the Australian landscape — not just shaping space, but revealing the layered stories of Country."

About

Lachlan joined the team at TCL in 2024 whilst studying his Bachelor of Landscape Architecture at the University of Technology Sydney. Lachlan is currently completing his honours year at UTS.

Lachlan believes the future of landscape architecture lies in its ability to restore more than it extracts. To act not only as a design discipline but as a regenerative force. Within each project is an opportunity to heal degraded systems, reimagine urban ecologies, and create conditions where biodiversity can thrive. He’s drawn to the interstitial moments in a site with ecologic opportunity, where water gathers and where habitat can take hold.

TCL acknowledges all Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People — the traditional custodians of the land on which we work. We respect Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples continuing connection to land, waters, and culture and recognise that sovereignty has never been ceded. We pay our respects to Elders past and present.
